PrivacyPolicy

This policy explains how myBTL collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our platform and services at mybtl.tech.

Last updated: March 2026 · Effective: March 2026

Summary

myBTL is a BTL (below-the-line) campaign management platform available at mybtl.tech. We collect the data needed to operate our service, we do not sell your personal data, and we give you full control over your information. This policy applies to all users including brand managers, promoters, and administrators.

1 Who We Are

myBTL ("we", "us", or "our") is the operator of the myBTL platform — a cloud-based software service for managing below-the-line marketing campaigns, accessible at mybtl.tech. For all privacy-related enquiries, please contact us at support@mybtl.tech.

2 Information We Collect

Account & Identity Information

When you create an account or sign in via a third-party identity provider (Google, Microsoft, or Meta), we receive your name, email address, and profile picture as provided by that service. We use this solely to create and manage your myBTL account.

Usage & Platform Data

We collect data about how you interact with the platform, including pages visited, features used, campaign data you enter, reports you generate, and timestamps of actions.

Location Data (Promoters only)

The platform collects GPS check-in data from promoters solely to verify field attendance within configured geofence boundaries. Location data is only collected when a promoter explicitly initiates a check-in action — not continuously in the background.

Device & Technical Data

We collect standard technical information including IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers to ensure platform security and performance.

Communications & Contact Forms

When you contact us for support, submit a demo request, or request a launch notification via mybtl.tech, we retain the content of your message and your contact details to respond to your enquiry.

3 Third-Party Sign-In (OAuth)

myBTL supports sign-in via Google, Microsoft, and Meta accounts using the OAuth 2.0 protocol. When you choose to sign in through one of these providers:

  • We request only the minimum scopes required: your name, email address, and profile picture.
  • We do not receive your password — authentication is handled entirely by the third-party provider.
  • We do not post to your accounts, access your contacts, or read any data beyond what is necessary to identify you.
  • Tokens are used solely for account authentication and stored securely.
  • You may revoke myBTL's access at any time through your Google, Microsoft, or Meta account settings.

Each provider's own privacy policy governs how they handle your data during authentication:

4 How We Use Your Information

  • → To create and manage your account and authenticate your identity.
  • → To provide, operate, and improve the myBTL platform and its features.
  • → To send service-related communications such as account notifications and system updates.
  • → To verify promoter field attendance using GPS check-in data within your campaign's geofence.
  • → To respond to demo requests and launch notification sign-ups submitted via mybtl.tech.
  • → To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • → To comply with applicable legal obligations.
  • → To respond to your support requests and enquiries.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we do not use your data for advertising purposes unrelated to the myBTL service.

After this period, data may be deleted or anonymised upon request. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting support@mybtl.tech.
